First step was to get an elegant pose of Leo and fortunately all her poses are elegant.

I started with filling up the white of canvas by using base colors. Thin to thick approach was used for the medium. Second layer had the sketch. Third layer I started applying the correct hues while using thick colors. To give the effect of fur, "tick mark" strokes were used in some places. Fourth and fifth layers were all about increasing the accuracy of the painting. A week's gap was used between each layer.
