Technical insight

I have placed the portraits to show journey of life. The left most portrait covers major portion of the canvas. Technique employed for this portrait is realism which makes it the main subject of the painting. Middle portrait is done in impressionism giving it the required vibrancy without taking attention away from the left portrait. Third portrait on the right is done with lighter hues mixed with grey color.

Background is monochromatic, complimentary to portraits, contrasting to the shawl on the left.
